The Project

What we delivered

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department needed a high-visibility substation in downtown North St. Louis. Wright Building Systems transformed a prominent corner storefront, more than 4,000 square feet on the first floor of the historic Globe Building at Tucker Boulevard and Convention Center Drive, into a fully functioning, state-of-the-art police facility.

The build-out delivered finished interiors suited to police operations, including office space, secure storage, and public-facing areas. On the exterior, the street-facing elevations were clad in black glass with prominent SLMPD branding, maximizing the department’s visibility and community presence at a busy downtown intersection.

The finished substation pairs the operational function the department required with the deliberate street presence a downtown location demands.
