The Project

What we delivered

A failed water line feeding a sixth-floor coffee station ran unnoticed from Friday night to Monday morning, releasing an estimated 65,000 gallons into the building. By the time maintenance found it, the loss had reached four floors, flooding suites and corridors on the sixth, fifth, fourth, and third levels, with ceilings already failing where the water had come through.

Wright Building Systems mobilized to extract the standing water and assess the damage floor by floor. Because it had sat over a full weekend, drying alone was not enough, and we moved quickly into controlled demolition: two-foot flood cuts on the sixth floor, full drywall and acoustic-ceiling demolition on the fifth and fourth, and targeted removal on the less-affected third, pulling wet insulation, flooring, damaged cabinetry, and base throughout.

Every affected space was treated with an antimicrobial and dried to completion, leaving the building clean, stable, and ready to rebuild. Fast mobilization and a disciplined demo-and-dry plan kept a major multi-floor loss from becoming a far larger one.
